Ashmika comes with a wealth of experience acquired in public relations and communications. After a few years of internships and Account Executive roles in PR and events management, she relocated to Johannesburg in 2014 to join Brandfluent SA as an senior Account Executive. She quickly familiarised herself with this new role and residing in a new city.

In a digital age where both content and effective communication are key, Indika Communications Co-Founder Ashmika Naidoo is a vital asset.

Responding to a strong desire to be responsible for clients’ triumphs and provide them with creative insights, Ashmika started her entrepreneurial journey in March 2020. In addition to this, being an entrepreneur meant that she could be a fully present new mother.

Ashmika comes with a wealth of experience acquired in public relations and communications. Her hard work and impeccable work ethic saw her join Idea Engineers as an Account Manager in 2015. In this role, Ashmika is one of the main points of contact on global accounts. She is also responsible for end-to-end client service in PR activities.

Ashmika’s collective experience as a public relations professional and working with various clients, has given birth to her newfound passion for building small businesses. In addition to this, she is passionate about creating positive brand awareness for clients, making a difference and being synonymous with ground-breaking solutions.

An entrepreneur at heart, Ashmika dreams of building up Indika Communications into a communications empire that will someday create waves in the industry, and be a trusted partner for small businesses. “We believe in servicing our clients to the highest standard, but also playing an advisory role so we can become a valuable partner to them,” shares Ashmika.
